The upcoming September 17 game between Ohio State and the University of Miami has been cancelled after boosters and officials from both school tried to bribe referees and BCS committee members to secure a win for their team. Both schools are currently embroiled in recruiting scandals and eligibility violations but that did not stop them from trying to bend the rules yet again. NCAA officials were shocked at the audacity of both insitutions, said one:
“I am shocked by the audacity of both institutions.”
According to sources, even Nevin Shapiro was shopping a bribe to anyone who would listen. Ohio State even went as far as to kidnap several pro bowl NFL players and put them on the active roster for the game. Due to these recent allegations, the NCAA has not only cancelled this game but will be looking into closing down both schools for good.
